Corrie's Story

Corrie Jo Gross Bechtelheimer was an incredible wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  Corrie lived a rich, full life.  She had a wonderful childhood as part of a great family.  She married her high school sweetheart and love her life, Trey, and they had two beautiful children, Sloane and Rob.  She traveled to places many people only dream of visiting.  She loved her job as a speech-language pathologist and touched the lives of countless adults and children in our community.

During her courageous two year battle, she received a tremendous amount of support from our community.

Before she lost her fight with cancer on June 6, 2014, she had expressed and shown many times that she wanted to help other cancer warriors with the expenses they faced while fighting their battles.  We hope to be able to fulfill her dream and honor her memory by providing some financial help to others fighting cancer in our area.
